Success Stories

Children Literacy program

Children Literacy: Building Foundations for the Future

Through our Children Literacy program, 123 children in Kakuma Refugee Camp have been engaged in reading, writing, numeracy, and learning through play. Children who once had no access to structured learning are now developing communication skills and a passion for education that will carry them through life.

Women Empowerment program

Women Empowerment: Creating Confident, Independent Women

154 women have been engaged in our Women Empowerment program, gaining skills in entrepreneurship, innovation, and livelihood development. With a strong focus on gender equity and inclusion, these women are now contributing to sustainable development in their households and the wider Kakuma community.

Youth Empowerment program

Youth Empowerment: Shaping Tomorrow's Leaders

62 young people have been reached through our Youth Empowerment program, receiving career guidance, mentorship, scholarship and job application support, and leadership development training. These youth are being equipped with the tools they need to build meaningful careers and lead their communities.

Environmental Conservation program

Environmental Conservation: Protecting Our Community

20 community members have actively participated in our Environmental Conservation program through tree planting initiatives and environmental awareness campaigns. Their efforts are helping to restore the natural environment around Kakuma Refugee Camp and building a culture of ecological responsibility for generations to come.
